FCPS Social Studies

The University Kentucky in partnership with the Jewish Heritage Fund are holding Holocaust Education workshops for Kentucky middle and high school teachers for Spring 2023. A $250 stipend is available on a first come, first served basis.

Six FCPS teacher leaders will be facilitating some of these sessions. We are proud to be educational partners on the ground floor of this important work!

The Fayette County Education Association (FCEA) has chosen D’lon Copeland of Leestown Middle School and Steven Riley of Henry Clay High School as 2022 American Education Week scholarship recipients! FCEA members may apply for the $500 award if they work toward their Rank 2, Rank 1, NBCT, or doctoral degrees.
