It is Election Season! The offices of President and Programming Chair are up for election for the 2026-2028 term. The KOSA Board is seeking nominations for these positions by Saturday, February 14th. Duties of the President:
*Prerequisite Note: Candidates for President must have served on the KOSA Board for a minimum of 1 year.
Preside at meetings
Make appointments with Board approval
Review monthly bank statements
Serve as primary AOSA liaisons
Submit required reports to AOSA
Become Past President at the end of term but may hold additional office
Duties of the Programming Chair:
Assist President
Preside in President's absence
Develop workshop schedule
Oversee program planning
Solicit presenters for Chapter Share
Submit Programming Report
All nominated individuals will be contacted before officially placing on the election ballot. Elections will take place at our March 7th workshop, and are open to all KOSA members who are active AOSA members.

Due to the predicted storms tomorrow, the KOSA Board has decided to RESCHEDULE our workshop with Allison Croskey. Our new date will be March 29th, 2025. The location and time will remain the same! We are bummed to reschedule, but we don't want KOSA members choosing between safety and a great workshop! We hope to see you March 29th!
