🍎 Join the Glendover Elementary Family! We’re Hiring a Special Education Paraeducator! 🍏

Are you passionate about cultivating a cohesive, caring community where every single child is empowered to reach their highest potential? Do you thrive in a diverse environment where academic and emotional growth are celebrated daily?

At Glendover, our mission is to grow together as independent learners within a diverse community. We are looking for an incredible Special Education Paraeducator to join our team and help us bring that mission to life!

🌟 Why You’ll Love Glendover
We aren't just a school; we are a global community igniting a passion for learning. As a paraeducator here, you will be at the heart of our core focus areas:

Fostering a Positive School Climate: Building a warm, inclusive space where students feel safe to learn and grow.

Strengthening MTSS Structures: Working hand-in-hand with teachers to provide targeted academic and emotional support.

Collaborative PLCs: Engaging with a dedicated team of professionals who collaborate to ensure no student falls through the cracks.

🧩 Who We Are Looking For
We want educators who embody our Portrait of a Graduate so they can model these traits for our students. Our ideal candidate is:

Culturally Competent & Respectful: Someone who genuinely celebrates and respects differences.

A Creative Problem Solver: Ready to help students build independence, confidence, and age-appropriate life skills.

Responsible, Safe, and Kind: A patient advocate who meets students exactly where they are.

💬 "We are building a positive future, one student at a time. If you want to make a tangible, daily impact on a child's academic and emotional growth, your seat at our table is waiting."

🏀Annual Staff vs. 5th Grade Students Basketball Game!🏀

Last Friday, our staff and 5th grade students faced off vs. each other to compete for the ultimate end of year showdown! Even our visiting former Eagles from the Class of 2026 got in on the action! ⛹🏼⛹🏾‍♀️

We started off with our 5th grade Chorus students leading us in the National Anthem, our cheerleaders kicked off the game, had amazing emcees from Mr. V and Mrs. Bowling, and we had our Dance Team perform as halftime entertainment!📣🎤🎶

We had house competitions between quarters, our students had a blast together, and we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as their time at Glendover comes to an end. Our 5th grade students pulled off an amazing victory over the staff as their fellow classmates cheered them on!🎉👏🏼

Thank you to Mr. Newsome for putting together this amazing end of the year Glendover tradition that we love!❤️💙🦅
