This week, 26 dedicated Lewisville ISD elementary leaders spent part of their summer at the 2026 Texas Elementary Principals & Supervisors Association Summer Conference, learning, growing, and collaborating with fellow school leaders from across the great state of Texas. Their commitment to continuous improvement ensures that our students, staff, and communities continue to thrive.

We are proud of these leaders who embody what it means to learn, lead, and serve.

Our Lewisville ISD Early Childhood Center principals have been spending their summer at the Conscious Discipline Conference learning all things Conscious Discipline. Mrs. Evans and Mr. Angeli are ready to share their learning with staff at Lillie J. Jackson Early Childhood Center and the new Vernell Greg Early Childhood Center so that staff are equipped & ready to meet their youngest learners’ needs!

Thank you to Southridge Elementary principal Clarence Scott (Region XI TEPSA president) and Bridlewood Elementary principal Meredith Whitehouse (Region XI Rep at Large) for representing Lewisville ISD at TEPSA (Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association). We appreciate you for bringing together knowledge, expertise and leadership support from across our region so that we can all be better together!

This morning, I had the opportunity to visit Camey Elementary and see our Early Childhood Summer School students in action!

Students were engaged in story time, active learning, and fun physical activities, while others were excitedly preparing for a field trip. It was great to see so much joy, curiosity, and learning happening this summer.

Thank you to the staff who continue creating meaningful experiences for our youngest learners!

Had a fantastic learning session with our incredible team & department leaders! Always inspiring to see our leadership come together to share insights, sharpen skills, & align how we can better support our teams.

We had the honor of celebrating 4 outstanding teachers “on the RISE” this evening, thanks to Mrs. Bairds, Bimbo, and Market Street! Hundreds of teachers in the DFW metroplex were nominated and 27 were selected as winners, with 4 being from Lewisville ISD 🤩

Congratulations to these teachers from Hicks Elementary, Old Settlers Elementary, Hebron Valley Elementary, and Flower Mound High School for being named as “Teachers on the Rise!” 👏
