We are so very, very proud of the DeLay Honor Band. They earned straight 1s (highest ratings possible) from ALL judges yesterday at their UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation! Their hard work and dedication have definitely paid off! Way to go Honor Band!!

We are so incredibly happy for the members of the DeLay Symphonic Band. Yesterday at their UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation, they earned 1s (highest rating possible) from all three concert judges and 1s from sightreading judges! This is called "Sweepstakes" and it is a BIG DEAL! Congratulations to everyone for their amazing hard work and dedication to the DeLay Bands!

We had an AMAZING time Friday at The Cove! Our kids were well-behaved and had a blast! A huge “Thank You” to the parents who took time out of their day to volunteer as chaperones on our trip.

We are very excited to welcome the new Assistant Band Director to DeLay - Mr. Edwards! He went to Lamar Middle School and Marcus High School here in Lewisville. He just graduated from Oklahoma State in May and he is very excited to get started at DeLay. We are looking forward to an amazing year for the DeLay Bands! Welcome Mr. Edwards!

Please consider donating to the DeLay Middle School Band! Our kids are thriving because of our fundraising. Money goes toward masterclasses, supplies, and their spring trip. Our boosters are a 501c3 tax-deductible charity.

Our Band Program is dedicated to giving students the opportunity to grow musically, socially, and academically. Congratulations to Dominick for making the Texas All-State band! He was a bright clarinetist that made region band for us and has kept working and is thriving! He’ll be attending Texas State for music education. We’re so proud!
