What does a Foundations Day in Classical Conversations look like?
🌟 We meet once a week on Mondays to build knowledge and community.
👧👦 All PK4–6th graders learn the same content together—making it simple for families to stay unified.
🧑‍🏫 Each class has a dedicated tutor, and we cap classes at 8 students to keep things personal and focused.
We start at 9 a.m. with a joyful opening assembly for all the kids. Then classes break off with their tutor (same one all year!).
🎶 In class, we sing songs for memory work, explore maps in geography, get hands-on with a science project, and create in art.
🎤 Every student practices public speaking through weekly presentations—such a confidence builder!
One of my favorite parts? Every family is learning the same material each week! We all use the same Christ-centered curriculum and tailor it to our own homeschool rhythms.
✨ It’s community. It’s consistency. It’s classical. And it’s such a joy.

Classical Conversations has been such a blessing for my family! It has given us consistency and a Christian Community.
We attend community once a week (on Mondays) where a tutor teaches us & our children what we will be working on for the week. There 8 students per class. Our community also has class parties, field trips, park days, and mom nights.
Tutors do a fantastic job going over the memory work 7 times in different ways! We do this from 9-12. From 12-1 we eat and students play while moms get to talk. Essentials (4-6th grade) meets from 1-3.
Foundation students play games, meet kids their age, and I build my confidence and redeem my own education in the process! There are 7 subjects that the students learn memory work from
- Math - Latin - Science - English - History - Geography - Timeline
The students also have Hands-on Science, Hands-on Art, and Presentations.
If you have questions about homeschooling reach out. If it's just fear holding you back don't let it! Reach out, get educated and pray to see if it's where you're called to be!

When you get to experience Classical Conversations history sentence in real life 🥹
We just learned about the Mound-Builders this past year (Cycle 1, Week 18, History). This past week we visited Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. It preserves the central section of the largest prehistoric Native American city north of Mexico.
How amazing to stand in front of and climb the hundred-foot-tall Monks Mound, the largest prehistoric earthen mound in the Americas.
