I specialize in supporting teachers with general test taking strategies as well as tackling questions about instruction, assessment, and serving students in special programs found on the following exams:

In this interactive online course, participants will gain an understanding of the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) and appropriate linguistic supports for ELs and EBs at each proficiency level in order to be better informed when selecting answer choices on TExES exams.

Participants will:
* gain an understanding of the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
* discuss appropriate linguistic supports for ELs and EBs at each proficiency level
* determine a student's proficiency level based on sample work
apply this learning to several practice questions

Presented over Zoom by a TEA-Approved CPE Provider.
CPE certificates received upon completion of the course.

TExES Exam Prep Series - Summer 2025 Sessions Now Available!

Many TExES exams assess similar competencies related to instruction, assessment, and support for students from special populations. In these sessions, I will target these overlapping competencies by providing content knowledge alongside discussion of sample questions similar to those found in the TExES Prep Manuals.

TExES Test Prep Tutorials

Struggling to pass a TExES exam? I can help!

In our sessions, we will:
- discuss the “perfect world” of TExES classroom scenarios
- practice strategies for picking apart the language of questions and answer choices to better understand what is really being asked
- work through practice questions together
- review the Educator Competencies to make sure you understand what exactly is being assessed and clarify topics as needed.

Cost and Duration of Sessions
- Tutoring is $50/hour, with the first session at 75 minutes for no additional cost so that I can get to know more about you and your testing needs.
- Any additional sessions can be booked at 60, 90, and 120 minute increments depending on what works best for you and what I have available.
