What an INCREDIBLE way to celebrate the culmination of Hispanic Heritage Month at Southridge Elementary! 🎊

We kicked off our day of celebration with a special assembly featuring the talented UNT Folklórico Dancers, who brought Hispanic culture and traditions to life through beautiful music, colorful costumes, and amazing performances! 💃🏽🎶

The celebration continued into the evening with our Multicultural Tasting Event, and WOW, did our Southridge families show up! ❤️ We had over 50 parents sharing delicious cultural dishes representing more than 13 different countries! 🌎🍽️ Our campus was filled with incredible food, beautiful traditions, and families coming together to celebrate the rich diversity that makes Southridge so special!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing families who generously shared their time, food, and culture, and to our dedicated staff who helped make this celebration possible! Your involvement is what makes our school community so special! 🩵🖤

At the beginning of the week, we held our first Rockets RISE Rally of the school year, and what an incredible way to celebrate our students and staff! 🎉

At Southridge, we are building a culture where positive choices, hard work, and doing the right thing are recognized and celebrated! We were thrilled to honor our outstanding students who have demonstrated what it means to RISE by being Respectful, Intentional, Safe, and Engaged in Learning!

We also celebrated some amazing teachers who go above and beyond each day to help our Rockets learn, grow, and SOAR! 🚀

Congratulations to all of our first Rockets RISE honorees! We can’t wait to recognize even more Rockets at our next RISE Rally!

Together, Rockets RISE!
