I am a nanny new to the Lewisville area, and I am currently seeking one more child between the ages of 2 months and 3 years old. I am SIDS, Shaken Baby, Infant and Toddler Nutrition, Brain Development, and Social Emotional certified (just to name a few). I am one inspection away from being licensed with the state, have in-depth background checks done on everyone living in my home, and the paperwork for everything readily available to all parents. I have raised kids since I was 14 years old (my mother was a single parent of three, of which I was over ten years older than, I watched both siblings at least 10 hours a day from birth until now late teens). I also have a beautiful daughter of three, and I am currently caring for an 11 month old. I was a substitute teacher for several years before joining the military as Human Resources. I have also started attending college for human psychology and child development. My home is extremely well maintained and clean, although I own a TV it is hardly ever used (we have too many educational toys, crafts, and other things to do than think about TV). I own over 30,000 books, reading is a huge part of my life and I will incorporate that into your child's several times a day. All of my kids were reading long before entering school. I am experienced in potty training (boys and girls), keep parents informed and involved in their child's daily activities, and have just now acquired ALL BRAND NEW baby gear and toddler toys. When we moved we discovered our old stuff was, all though, very well loved it was time to be replaced. I try to be as fair priced as I can without taking a lose my self. Please take into account that I will provide the best care (other than being able to stay home with you); your child will be spared no expense (not just monetary, but emotionally). I am keeping the number of children small, so I can fulfill my promise for the best one on one care available. Interviews are being held this Saturday and Sunday. I was a substitute teacher for an elementary school for several years before I joined the military, and a housewife since my honorable discharge. I love children, have a very child friendly home, and understand all of the needs and wants of a little one. I offer a very one on one setting, and the next best alternative to being able to stay home with you. I will only ever have 3 children in my care at all times, so I can maintain this promise. I have a huge library that will satisfy all the way from slobbering 6 month olds to picky junior high students :) I do own a TV and a ton of children's movies, however, we will have SOOOO much to do that it will be rarely used. You are paying me to take care of your little ones, not the TV! We have all educational toys, and I believe that there is no one too young to start learning. Every activity we do during the day will be contributing to their minds in one way or another. The program they are on is relevant to their age. I will provide all the meals, and snacks during the day, post photo's and updates on Facebook as often as I can, and I incorporate the parents as much as I can so the child is on the same page at all times!!! All of our equipment is BRAND NEW!!! The old stuff, was just that, getting old. So we are renovating EVERYTHING!!! New gear, toys, linens, EVERYTHING!!! I am CPR and first aid certified, and I am working on getting registered (licensed) with the state of Texas, and have all the documentation at the availability of parents. I try to extend the lowest rates I can, while taking into consideration the cost of running such an intricate business. Your child will be spared no expense while with me, emotionally and TOYS of course. I am a health nut, and have NO JUNK FOOD anywhere in my home!!! There is also no alcohol, or cigarette use allowed at my house at ANY time!!! Every safety precaution is taken at all times (gates and other equipment).
