Reminder for families! Our student information system is transitioning to a new and improved platform this summer — Skyward Qmlativ. Here's what that means for your family between now and the first day of school:

📌 Now – July 17 | Skyward SMS is available in read-only mode. If there are documents you may need this summer — unofficial transcripts, report cards, records, etc. — download them before July 17.

📌 July 13 | Online enrollment reopens in the new Qmlativ system.

📌 July 17 – Aug. 2 | The Skyward app will be temporarily offline. A browser link will be available during this window for document access.

📌 Aug. 3 | Family Access opens in Skyward Qmlativ! Delete and reinstall the Skyward app on your device and sign back in to get started.

📌 Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. | Student schedules are released for all grade levels.

First graders are on an outdoor learning adventure today at LISDOLA! Our teachers are excited to engage right alongside our Dragons!

We love our bus drivers! Thank you for being the smiling faces that our students start and end their days with. You take such good care of our students, and we are thankful for you!

Behind every smooth school day is a team of dedicated professionals ensuring our students are safe and ready to learn! We are grateful for our operations and support staff who help LISD overdeliver every day!

Today we’re celebrating Mrs. Rainwater as she gets ready to retire, and what better way than with a Razorback throwback! Over the years, she hasn’t just taught reading and math, she’s built connections, shared traditions, and even inspired a few fellow Razorback fans along the way.
From past students to present, this crew is proof that her impact lasts far beyond the classroom. Now, as the Razorbacks head to the finals, you can bet they’ll all be cheering them on together!

This week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible teachers in a special way by surprising them in their classrooms with heartfelt notes from both current and former students.

Each message told a story of teachers who made a difference, built meaningful connections, and created learning experiences that students still carry with them today. From kind words of encouragement to unforgettable classroom moments, it was a powerful reminder of the lasting impact our teachers make every single day.

There were smiles, a few happy tears, and so much gratitude. 💛
