🎓🏀 Senior Spotlight: Silas Myers 🏀🎓

Since first grade, Silas has been part of the LCA family, and over the years we have had the privilege of watching him grow into an outstanding young man and leader. As captain of the varsity basketball team, he has led with determination, humility, and a steady presence that has impacted teammates, classmates, and younger students alike.

Silas has brought so much energy, heart, and school spirit to LCA through the years, and it is hard to imagine these halls and gym without him. While we are proud of all he has accomplished, we are even more proud of the character and faith he carries with him into this next chapter.

🎓Senior Spotlight: Josslynne Sturdivant 🎓

From the little girl who first walked through the doors of LCA in Pre-K to the compassionate young woman she is today, it has been such a joy to watch Josslynne grow over the years. As captain of the varsity volleyball team, she has led with determination, kindness, and a heart that reflects Christ both on and off the court.

Josslynne has been part of the LCA family for so many milestones, memories, friendships, and moments of growth, and her presence will truly be missed. While it is hard to imagine these halls without her, we are so excited to see where God leads her next.

Josslynne, thank you for the example you have been to younger students and for the joy you have brought to our school family. No matter where life takes you, you will always be a Lion. ❤️💙

🎓✨ Class of 2026 ✨🎓

Today we celebrate Mary Curtin, Lakeland Christian Academy’s Valedictorian. Through dedication, perseverance, and faith, Mary has led by example and reflected Christ in both her academics and character.

As she begins this next chapter, we pray she continues to walk confidently in the calling God has placed on her life, remembering where her strength and help truly come from.

“Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” — Psalm 124:8

Congratulations, Mary! Your LCA family is so proud of you and excited to see all God has in store for your future. 💙

Today during Senior Chapel, our seniors were reminded of an important truth: no matter where life takes them next, they belong to God.

As they prepare to step out into the world, they do not go alone. They go with the love of their families, the prayers of their school, and the steady presence of the One who has called them His.

One of the sweetest moments of the morning was watching the seniors pray over the juniors and encouraging them, supporting them, and symbolically passing the baton to the next class to lead well and walk faithfully.

What a beautiful reminder that the legacy of faith continues from one class to the next.

We are so proud of these students and excited to see where God leads them.

🎓✨ Celebrating Vincent Treece ✨🎓

Today we honor Vincent Treece as he prepares to graduate with the Class of 2026. Vincent’s time at Lakeland Christian Academy has been filled with growth, perseverance, and memorable moments that have helped shape the young man he is today. His quote is “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door”

As he moves forward into this next season of life, we pray he continues to seek God’s direction, embrace new opportunities, and confidently pursue the purpose set before him.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
