Have a stash of shopping bags that is taking over a cabinet? Dressed to Learn needs medium/large shopping bags! We also love Lululemon bags!

Thanks to Castle Hills Elementary School PTA for hosting a toiletries drive and re-stocking out cabinet. We are 100% donation-driven and are so thankful for our caring LISD community!

Thank you to our intrepid Saturday volunteers who walked into an explosion of donations on our storage side, sorted and made sense of it all, and converted our "shopping" side from Winter gear to spring. We are 100% volunteer operated and couldn't serve LISD students without your help! (See "before" and "after" videos!)

Thank you to our Thursday after-school volunteers for helping us get clothes ready for LISD students in need. We love our volunteers!

A belated thank you to some very intrepid Saturday Dressed to Learn volunteers who tamed our donation pile, labeled clothing and got the closet in tip-top shape for LISD students in need. Thank you to repeat volunteer Adrienne Boutwell for leading our group. Our volunteers make Dressed to Learn possible and we are so grateful!

Dressed to Learn would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Downing Middle School PTA and the NCL Cottonwood Chapter. Both groups hosted drives for hygiene items that will be supplied to LISD students in immediate need.
Dressed to Learn is always in need of dental hygiene items (toothpaste, brushes, floss), shower goods (shampoo, conditioner and body wash), as well as hair and skin care items (brushes/combs, ponytail holders, lotion and chapstick).
We are so blessed to belong to a giving community in Lewisville ISD that is always looking out for those in need. Thank you to the Downing MS PTA and NCL Cottonwood for delivering so many wonderful items!

We started December off right with our friends from Fairfax Tax who donated money *and* their time to the Dressed to Learn closet for the holidays! Thank you Fairfax Tax (and LISD Council of PTAs secretary Jaime Griffith) for getting our cold-weather gear looking its best and for helping out LISD students in need!

It is always a privilege to serve LISD students in need. Susan Barden, CISNTX site coordinator at LHS-Harmon is a fantastic partner—she asked for a few coats last Friday, including a 3XL. Our Saturday volunteers put the order together, including bonus hats, gloves and hoodies, and we were able to deliver on Monday. We are so happy those students will be toasty during the next cold snap!
If you have warm coats (size 4Toddler up to adult 3XL), we will happily take them! Find a drop off location near you:

Thanks to our Saturday volunteers we filled some coat orders for local schools, got all our kids and adult hoodies ready for easy selection and made sure all our cold-weather gear is front and center. We couldn't provide comfy clothes to LISD students without our volunteers and are so grateful for their time and efforts!
(Fun fact: one of our volunteers was a Southridge ES alumnus whose third grade class was in the portable classroom now housing the Dressed to Learn closet. Just like old times!)

Thank you so much to all who visited our Open House last week! If you missed it, Dressed to Learn is a program of the LISD Council of PTAs—100% donation driven, operated solely by volunteers.
We provide comfy school clothes to LISD students in need (for any reason). LISD community groups help us sort, hang and label donations. We offer new shoes, socks, underlayers and toiletries, as well as gently-used tops, bottoms, hoodies and coats. Email [email protected] to find out how you can help LISD students in need today!
