We wrapped up our year of "building each other up" with an AMAZING day at our Construction-Themed Field Day a few weeks ago! 👷♂️🦺
From jackhammer jumps to scavenger hunts, cone toss challenges, and Bible verse scrambles, our students worked hard, played hard, and showed incredible teamwork all day long! 💪🎉
We loved watching our students encourage one another, laugh together, and build memories that will last far beyond this school year. ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers, families, and staff who helped make the day such a success. We truly could not do it without you!
Our Boulders showed perseverance, kindness, teamwork, and Christlike character throughout every activity, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. 🪨✨

We wrapped up the 2025-26 school year today with awesome research reports (did you know sloths only come down from trees once a week???). We also played games, laughed, and reviewed and discovered how much the kiddos have grown since the beginning of the year.!! It was a magnificent year!! Have a great summer, Boulders!! You rock!! 🪨💛💙

Happy Teacher's Appreciation Day to our amazing teachers and co-teachers (home educators)! Thank you for your investment in the next generation!
Last week we went to the Center! There we saw how the Bible, science, and history are all integrated! Through videos, immersive experiences, and even a planetarium show our little learners saw how intentional our Creator was in designing everything from the solar system to the Wooly Rhino (have you ever heard of it?) and the Baobab tree! It was quite the adventure! The next day we went to the where we were able to view and even handle artifacts from American history and pop culture! Both offered crafts for our students as well. We had an amazing time!

Great things are on the horizon for the remainder of the month! Discover what makes Solid Rock Prep unique at our next Info Meeting on Tuesday, April 12. Or join us for an en exciting explorative day for our CREATE Friday next Friday, April 17. Then families will be exploring local DFW sites on the 23rd and 24th.
We ♥️ Mrs. Mayfield, our music teacher! Students are learning to read and sing to music. They can even play the notes on the glockenspiel! 🎶

We had a last minute switch up for our March CREATE Friday so explored the theme: Safe & Sound: Common Sense God's Way. The Department got us started with a safety talk from the Chief, then we toured and touched their fire engine! We also learned about teamwork with a Fire Brigade relay with kids versus adults! Guess who won! We practiced our typing skills by typing fire words and discovered how to make healthy food choices. It was an alarmingly good day! 🔥🚒👩🚒
