Weekly Updates:
Thank you to all of you who came out to our Back to School Bash on Friday - it was a fun way to end the week and a great start to our Direct Donation Week!

Here’s what’s happening at LES this week:
*Aug 28 - Sept 4: Cool Cat Direct Donation Week
*Aug 31: Birthday Cupcakes for July and August
*Sept 4: Fun Run on the back field of the school (Parents are welcome)
-9:30-10:15 am: K-2 Fun Run
-10:30 -11:15 am: 3-5 Fun Run

Student Spotlight from Mrs. Swaim, 5th grade:
Kinleigh is my spotlight student. Kinleigh always has a positive attitude no matter what challenge comes her way. She is kind, caring, and friendly to all classmates and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is hardworking and always tries her best. I am proud to have Kinleigh in my class!!

LES PTA UPDATES:
We would like to start by sending a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at the Back to School Bash⭐️🪐!!! It was so exciting to see so many of our LES families! What a wonderful way to kick off this school year!

DIRECT DONATION IS HERE!! LETS MAKE IT AN 🪐“OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE”!!🪐

All students came home with their Direct Donation info packets and envelopes on Friday. Please be on the lookout for these things! This is our only FUNdraiser of the year and we appreciate any help you are able to give! We have volunteer opportunities every day this week!
