Our annual Market Lamb & Market Goat Mandatory meeting for members and parents is SET!
Join us on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at TECC-West for our informational meeting. At this meeting, advisors will cover topics such as animal purchase, day to day routine & care, overall budgeted costs, as well as project goals for individual members.

✨District Banquet Recap✨

The Lewisville FFA visited District 4 Convention & Banquet/Degree Check this past Tuesday, and needless to say it was a time! Our members got to be active in delegate voting privileges, degree check for current members, as well as voting talent to the next level for their district representation. A shoutout to our own representation at the District Level, as Gigi Gambaro and Fenway LaSalle ended their year of service as district officers.

A round of applause for our chapter for their dedication & hard work this past season to be able to bring home a plethora of banners for the Lewisville FFA!!

The Lewisville FFA has begun the week of county, with more updates to follow, but had an AMAZING day with the Ag Mechanics Show Team at the Denton County Youth Fair. Members have been working hard on show projects for MONTHS, and needless to say the hard work has paid off for these members. Please help us in celebrating the success of our Ag Mechanics team, and a job well done to round out show season 2026.

The Lewisville FFA had an OUTSTANDING time at the 2026 Houston Livestock Show during both Wave 1 and 2 of the Heifer Show!

During Wave 1, Lewisville FFA member Daniel Barraza exhibited his Santa Gertrudis heifer, Cherry! We are beyond proud of his hardwork this year! We traveled down with the Denton FFA showteam - highlighting the sense of community the FFA brings!

During Wave 2, our members showed up and showed out! Results below:
- 5th Place ORB heifer: Catherine Smith - MHS
- 6th Place Shorthorn Heifer: Braydon Hulen - MHS
- Polled Hereford Exhibitor: Evie Estrada - MHS

Our very own Lewisville FFA member, Catherine Smith, competed in the 2026 HLSR Calf Scramble where she CAUGHT a Calf and was awarded a purchase certificate of $2,750 to go towards the purchase of next years SAE project! She even got to meet retired NFL player, Von Miller, who spoke to the scramblers before they hit the dirt! We are so proud of her efforts this scramblers season - totaling to $3,250! She is now eligible for additional scholarships through these programs!

Please congratulate our students on a successful Major Stock Show season! Wish us luck as we make final preparations for the 2026 Denton County Youth Fair next week!

✨️San Angelo Heifer Show & Calf Scramble✨️

The Lewisville FFA Heifer Showteam attended the San Angelo Livestock Show this 2026! It was a fast 3 days filled with fun, hard work, and success! Results below:

- Catherine Smith: MHS

Marcus sophomore, Catherine Smith, also competed in the 2026 San Angelo Calf Scramble where she CAUGHT a Calf and may have broken a belt... Catherine's hard work earned her a $500 purchase certificate to aid in securing next years heifer SAE project! Please congratulate her on the catch!
