LORETTO - The titles keep coming.
Mifflin Countyโ€™s baseball team, who already having clinched a berth of a Commonwealth Championship Title looked to add to its dream season looking to capture the District 6 Class 6A championship. The match up would be with Altoona. The two teams split the season series looking for more.
The Huskies would rally behind strong pitching from Chase Hartung complete game effort in a dominant 6-1 win over the Mountain Lions.
Despite the early 1-0 advantage from a lead off home run from Altoonaโ€™s Tanner Stroup, it would be the only runs pushed acrossed by the Mountain Lions in their loss.

Mifflin County was led by strong hitting up and down the line up. Chase Leister and Karl Shirley both drove in runs along with other prominent hitters leading to eight Mifflin County hits.

Mifflin County won the battle cashing in when they needed to the Mountain Lions failed to do that in the loss.

Hartung also flashed the leather and built trust as the game went on with two final innings leading to a complete game one/run game.
Mifflin County story telling season continues as the Huskies live to see another day.
