This coming Saturday is the Broken Dreams mosaic class by Aimee Parsons-Hubley There are still a few spots left. This is the first time a class like this is being offered here & may not happen again for a while. Take advantage of this opportunity while you can. Next Saturday will be Juniata County's celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States. I will be there demonstrating some throwing skills similar to those used by early potters of that time. At least part of the demonstration will be using local clays from Junaiata, Mifflin, & Centre Counties. I will also have finished work for sale.

The studio is offering a mosaic workshop with a guest artist, Aimee Parsons-Hubley. This will be a TWO day event starting Saturday June 13th from 9-11am & Sunday 10-11am. You will be provided with a board, shards of broken pottery & some glass/mirror, grout, glue, tools, and instructions of how to create your own mosaic piece. Day 1 will include the creation of your work & day 2 will be grouting and finish work. Aimee is an accomplished local artist & the ceramics teach at Mifflin County High School. The pictures here are mosaics she has created using pieces of both glass and ceramics. You can find the workshop listing on the website. There are only 8 seats avaiable!
