UPDATE: Precautionary Boil Water Order

HES is now under a precautionary boil order due to the water tower shut-off while the line break was repaired. Please rest assured that this is strictly a safety measure suggested by the water department, and we are providing bottled water for all students and staff during the boil order.

We will post an update as soon as the order is lifted. Thank you for your understanding!

Due to a water line issue, Highland High School will be under a 48-Hour Boil Order starting at 4pm today (9/7/26). This boil order does NOT impact the Elementary School. High School students are encouraged to bring water bottles from home for Tuesday and Wednesday as the water fountains will not be able to be used until the boil order expires. The High School will have bottled water for those students and staff that do not have their own water. Thanks in advance for everyone's cooperation and understanding!

On Monday, 9/7, the Highland Lady Cougar softball team will host the Monroe City Lady Panthers. JV will play 1st at 5 pm with varsity to follow. Between games, (6:45) we plan to have a special dedication ceremony for the brand new E.H. Smith Memorial Batting Cage.

The Highland Lady Cougars got the win 14-2 vs Francis Howell Central this morning, and then fell to a very good Fort Zumwalt West team, 0-11. The Lady Cougars finished 3-1 on the weekend.

The Lady Cougars win two today, 15-0 vs St Dominic, and 13-3 vs Windsor. Back in action tomorrow vs Francis Howell Central at 9:30 and vs Fort Zumwalt West at 11.
