Mifflin County Middle School May Leaders of the Pack are, from left, Emma Keller (7th grade), Noelle Dolin (7th grade), Jett Nail (7th grade), Leylah Clinger (6th grade), Blaize Heider (6th grade), Drew Traxler (6th grade), and Dalton Kanagy (7th grade). Evelynn Senseman (6th grade) was absent for the photo. These students were nominated and voted on by their teachers. LOP is a program to recognize students who model positive character traits and who make a positive difference to our school community every day.

Mifflin County Middle School May Huskies of the Month are, from left, Alexandria Foltz (6th grade), Sarah Searer (6th grade), Nolan Wade (7th grade), Michael Baumgardner (6th grade), Evelyn Parkes (7th grade), Zacchaeus Platzer (6th grade), Matthew Green (7th grade), and Atalie Foor (7th grade). These students were nominated and voted on by their teachers. HOTM is a program to recognize students with strong work ethic, good grades and who display positive character.

On Friday, May 22, we hosted our 2026 MCMS Career Day, and it was an incredible opportunity for students to explore the many career pathways available right here in our community!

Throughout the day, all MCMS students visited the Career Day event during their ELA classes, where they had the chance to interact with local businesses, organizations, and professionals. Students completed a Career Day Bingo card by asking questions and learning more about different careers, and they wrapped up the experience by completing a Career Day Reflection to think about what they learned and which careers sparked their interest.
