Central PA EMS Educators, LLC A Lewistown based provider of AHA classes and general EMS continuing education to companies and individuals with a need for same.

My name is Troy Gro, and I'm a paramedic from the Lewistown area. I began teaching actively in 2007. In my years as an EMS provider, I've found that for some services, continuing education can be hard to come by. Many providers rely on online con-ed or classes provided by other services. Further, there seems to always be a need for CPR classes, both in healthcare and the general public as well. Se

eing this need, I founded this company with the hopes of being able to help attend to these needs. I love my chosen field and I really enjoy teaching others. Any and all classes will be posted here with needed information. If you're interested in setting up classes at your site, please feel free to send a message and I will be happy to do all I can to assist you. Hey everyone! Thank you all for your patience. There has been a lot going on. We haven't forgotten about requests for classes, but changing full time jobs has prevented scheduling. Please stay tuned and we will get things going asap. Again, thanks to everyone for your understanding.

We're honored to be asked back to Big Valley Ambulance November 12 for another day of con-ed. 8.5 CEU total available, CPAP for BLS, Pulse ox for BLS, Allergies, and Cardiac Emergencies (not necessarily in that order). All are welcome, unless Joy Byler says otherwise. Starting bright and squirrelly at 0800.

For anyone interested or just in need of Con-ed, we will be holding an ALS assistance class in Burnham at the club on Birch Hill. This is the 16 hour class which is good for 14 CEU (12 medical/2 other). Dates and times as follows:

6/10 0900-1700
6/24 0700-1500

The will be in association with Standard Steel QRS. Lunch will be delivered and cost is the responsibility of each student. Cost of the class is $30/person. Registration is required, but I can take registrations until the night prior. Message here, or text/call 717-994-7080 with questions or to register. There is no limit on number of students.

One of the best compliments I can receive as an instructor is to be invited back to teach again. Repeat business tells me that I'm doing the job right and meeting my goals. After a fun day teaching at Six Mile Run on March 19, we're already making plans to do it all again in June. Stay tuned for date, time, and topics.

On April 1 (no foolin) we were honored to return to Burnham to do a CPR and BBP Class for Standard Steel QRS. Proud moment, everyone stayed awake through the whole class! Thanks to all involved for inviting us back, and thank you to Rebecca Taylor for helping with teaching.
