The Central Agricultural Research Center (CARC) will be having an Open House as part of
the Celebrate Ag Week at Montana State University. Come and join us from 8:30 to 11:30
AM on Wednesday, November 5th, at CARC headquarters two miles west of Moccasin. Staff
will be available to discuss ongoing research at CARC and, weather permitting, show and
describe research equipment used to plant and harvest small-plot trials at the center. Read

Now that we are getting closer to our 4-H County Awards Day it is time to recognize our livestock kids who produced animals that qualify for their respective carcass/animal merit program. Come attend the Fergus-Petroleum County Awards Day on October 26th to see who the winners are!

P.S. A couple of our local youth even placed at the state level carcass contest.

Due to meetings this week, the Extension Office will be closed to the morning of Tuesday and Wednesday for most of the day (the office will be open briefly in the morning).
