On Wednesday night, we had our last petting zoo of the summer, at Family Night on the Farm. We had lots of people stop by. Thanks to everyone who came!

On Monday the 27th we had another petting zoo at Altura’s farmers market. Thank you everyone that came!

The 2026–2027 Officer Team enjoyed an officer retreat filled with leadership games, cooking, and swimming. It was a great opportunity to build teamwork, get to know each other better, and prepare for a successful year ahead.

This past week we had our annual FFA banquet. We handed out many awards and certificates, a new officer team was elected, and we wished the graduating seniors good luck. We are excited to start the new year!

Update on the FFA Alumni and Supporters Dairy Bag sales. Thank you all for your continued support! We can't wait to help bring them back in 2027!

While we love bringing our annual dairy bag sale to our alumni, families, and community each year, will be hitting pause this year due to exciting construction projects both at the Lewiston – Altura, high school, and elementary school.

Although we’ll miss seeing everyone this year, these renovations are paving the way for an even brighter future, and we can’t wait to be back next year, ready to serve you again!

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and commitment to the Lewiston – Altura alumni and supporters, and our FFA members. We look forward to reconnecting and celebrating together once renovations are complete!

This week the FFA has celebrated the teachers here at Lewiston-Altura with cookies for Teacher Appreciation week. The members bagged and tagged the cookies for each staff member. On Thursday, 9 students went to Speltz Farm and helped plant 600 saplings on the hillside!

The farmer appreciation meal was a big hit! We were able to serve nearly 200 free meals to local farmers and farming supporters! Thank you to Heartland Country Club for cooking the meals and the Lewiston City Hall for allowing us to host at the community center.
