Here we are approaching the 2015 SfN meeting in Chicago. Would anyone like to get together for a lunch on either Sunday or Tuesday, probably somewhere in the convention center (Connie's, perhaps)? Either way, I'll try to track down as many of you as I can at posters. Have a great conference!

The Society for Neuroscience conference starts tomorrow. Yikes! How time flies. If you are attending, let's get together. If you can make it, let's meet at the President's Sports Bar in the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel across the green from the convention center on Sunday, November 16th. Come any time between 4:30 and 6:30 pm. Spread the word. Hope to see you soon.

The Bates Neuroscience Program is undergoing its first program review this year and we need your input! The purpose of the review is to gain insight into whether the program is succeeding in its goals and to determine whether changes are in order. As a part of this review, all neuroscience alumni will be receiving a survey from us on their experiences in the program. We also want to know what you have been up to since graduation. Please help us improve the program for future students by filling out the survey. We value your input!

Current students will be polled separately and will have the opportunity to participate in the review. More later....
