Asotin Elementary School students heard from Dr. Rachel Jameton this week, as she demonstrated how scientific data is used. 📊

They learned that using averages is helpful when looking at a lot of data.
They heard how constants and variables affect experiments and data.
Students learned that using data is helpful in finding trends and understanding the world.

The Herbarium Exhibit organized by Dr. Elizabeth Martin and Mycha Smith () is available for view on the first floor of Meriwether Lewis Hall. The current feature is, “Spring Wildflowers,” chosen from the LC State Herbarium collection.

A spring wildflower exhibit is displayed using three shadow boxes and descriptions of each that identify facts of each specimen.
