CHMS Trivia Night was AMAZING!!! It was filled fun and games and French flower carts with delicious desserts. We are astounded by the generosity of our community and we are already dreaming about next year's event! Thank you to our generous sponsors and family, , the Friends of CHMS Volunteer Committee for donating silent auction items and helping to organize and set up the event as well our incredible alumni who keep showing up for long after their children have grown. Thank you for supporting the children and families and Montessori education in your community!

A beautiful day for one of our favorite events, the Spring Tea! The Upper Elementary students were wonderful hosts. The Primary and Lower Elementary and Kindergarten provided beautiful music, flowers and gifts made with love. Everyone had their best manners and fanciest clothes. It is always so special!

The Upper Elementary students celebrated the culmination of their huge poetry writing project! They presented their famous poet essays, poems by the famous poets and some even shared original poems! We are so proud of their hard work and grateful to their grownups for taking the time during the craziness that is the month of May to be there with us at the Lewiston City Library Event Space!

What an AMAZING day!!!! The graffiti competition and experience for the kids was incredible. I was so inspired all day by what the children created. Thank you to all of the grown-ups who showed up and allowed their kids to try out this art form. Thank you to Lewiston Downtown Artwalk for putting on this event, .collective for helping all day and to the for donating the top prizes and to and for the goodies for all participants. And a big thank you to families who really showed up to support this event!!! We are also grateful for the use of the parking lot! Everyone was so respectful, creative and we had a lot of fun! We can't wait to be a part of the next one!

Join this weekend for the Downtown Spring Artwalk! We are proud to be community sponsors for this event! At CHMS we believe that supporting art and artists and our historic Downtown is all a part of building a better community and world! You'll find local artists displaying their art all throughout downtown on Friday evening and on Saturday! Join me in creating graffiti for the local skate park on Saturday at 11 a.m. at 325 Main street! Kids are welcome to come and create! I can't wait to celebrate art with our community this weekend.
