Registration is open for the Community Paramedicine Technician (CP-T) Program at United Training Center!

Community Paramedicine is expanding the role of EMS beyond traditional emergency response. The CP-T Program prepares AEMTs and Paramedics to provide proactive, patient-centered care in patients’ homes and communities while helping address chronic health conditions, barriers to care, and connections to healthcare and community resources.

United Training Center is now accepting registrations for our Community Paramedicine – Affiliate (CP-A) Program, beginning October 26, 2026.

Community Paramedicine prepares EMS clinicians to provide proactive, patient-centered care in the home and community—helping connect patients with healthcare and community resources, support chronic health needs, improve care coordination, and address concerns before they become emergencies.

👨‍⚕️ WHO CAN APPLY?

Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted Maine EMS EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic license.

Successful completion of the CP-A educational program is one component of the Maine EMS licensure process. Additional state eligibility and licensing requirements apply.

⚠️ CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

All students must successfully complete 16 hours of approved clinical and field experience by January 26, 2027. Students who do not complete the required clinical hours by the deadline will not successfully complete the program.
