On June 8, United Ambulance invites our employees, friends, and partners to join us in recognizing Ricky Nason for an incredible 22 years of dedication, professionalism, and service.

For more than two decades, Ricky has been a cornerstone of United. From supporting the COBRA Team, Wheelchair Services, EMS Operations, the United Training Center, and Community Paramedicine, to responding during winter storms, managing supplies, and stepping up whenever needed, Ricky has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to those around him.

Many first responders throughout our region know Ricky as the person who arrived with support when it was needed most. His presence brought confidence, safety, and reassurance to countless calls and incidents over the years.

While Ricky has never sought the spotlight, his contributions have left a lasting impact on United Ambulance, our employees, and the communities we serve. He has been a trusted colleague, mentor, friend, and advocate for EMS providers throughout his career.

Please stop by on June 8 to thank Ricky, share a story, and wish him well as we celebrate his remarkable legacy.

Our EMT to Paramedic Program for 2026 has now opened for registrations! Registrations close in Mid-July, so make sure to get your registrations in early and Application Fees paid to receive your Application Packet! Interviews will be held the beginning of August.

United Training Center is currently seeking applications for a Full-Time Paramedic Program Director. This position will remain open until filled.

📌 About the Role:
The Program Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the Paramedic Program, ensuring all educational goals and objectives are met while maintaining compliance with United Ambulance Service standards. This role also ensures the program maintains full accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and serves as the Lead Instructor for the program.

Join us April 15th from 6-8pm for the first of our new monthly CEH Classes that we will be offering here at United Training Center.

Topic: Your Patient is Deceased, What are the Next Steps??

During this CEH Class, we will discuss how you as a provider will eventually respond to a call in which the patient is already deceased or succumbs to their injuries or illness before you can transport them. We will go over what you will need to document in your MEFIRS Report for the Medical Examiners Office that helps them determine the patients manner of death. There will be case study discussions and their investigations and how proper reporting helps the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Cost to non-UAS employees: $10 cash the night of the class (we will provide receipts for your records).
