Hello! My name is Jaelyn and I will be taking over as office manager/registrar for the upcoming school year. While working as a paraprofessional last school year, I came to know and love Pinecrest.
My goal while working in this new role is to serve as a supportive resource for students, families, and staff. I want to make sure you always feel welcome and informed!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my two little nieces), being outdoors, and reading.
I look forward to meeting you all and making this an amazing school year!

We are excited to introduce our new teachers for the 2026-27 school year. Welcome to the PAL family Alexis and Tymber.
Hello! I’m Alexis Poxleitner and I will be teaching third grade for the 2026-2027 school year. I grew up here in Lewiston, and earned my Bachelor of Science in elementary education at Lewis-Clark State College with a literacy endorsement. I pursued literacy because I want to help every child find a LOVE for reading. I’m excited for third graders to explore the world of chapter books, and to share some of my favorites with them!
I had the opportunity to long-term sub in third grade here at Pinecrest, where I got a sneak peek into how amazing third grade can be. Third grade is a beautiful transition from primary to upper elementary, that comes with lots of growth in academics, independence, and social awareness.
In my classroom children can expect to feel safe, respected, and challenged to be their best selves every day.

FYI for our families this summer.
Kids 1-18 years old in the LC Valley will have access to food at no cost all summer. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis Clark Valley are working with the USDA Summer Food Service Program to offer kids meals. Your child does not have to be a member of the club to get the food.
There are two locations in Lewiston, one at the Orchards Boys & Girls Club and one at the Schweitzer Clubhouse at Lewiston High School. The Clarkston Clubhouse will also be offering both lunch and afternoon snack

🦅 Happy Last Day of School, Eagles! 🦅
Thank you to all of our students, families, staff, and community members for an amazing 2025–2026 school year. We are so proud of everything our students accomplished this year.
📚 Yearbooks will be distributed today. We still have a few available for purchase for $20 each while supplies last.
⏰ Today is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 PM.
💻 Students will continue to have access to iReady through the end of July. Students who complete iReady lessons over the summer will be eligible to earn a reward at the start of next school year. Summer practice helps reduce the “Summer Slide” and keeps students growing.
📦 Volunteers Needed Tuesday
We will be moving items out of the cafeteria building Tuesday from 8:00–11:00 AM. Any volunteers willing to help are appreciated. Lunch will be provided.
Have a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer break! 💙💛
