GVT After-School Classes focus on teamwork, collaboration, and building confidence, while learning foundational theatre skills.

Classes meet once a week throughout the semester in the Ed Wing of GVT. Each class will have a small showcase at the end of the semester.

Thank you to our Teaching Artists and Assistants for making Summer Camp - Adventures in Wonderland a success! 🐇

We truly had a great few weeks of exploring Alice in Wonderland, learning more about theatre, creating our own plays, rehearsing a musical, and making crafts! Plus, we had wonderfully packed audiences for our showcases! Thank you everyone!

We hope to see everyone back for Summer Camp next summer! 🌟

🍄Rising Stars Camp Artwork!🍄

The K-2nd grade campers have been busy learning about Alice in Wonderland through a dramatic play and songs! They have also created paper teacups, Cheshire Cats, and their own Mad Hatter hats!

We can't wait for their showcase!

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN AUDITIONING FOR THE FALL CONSERVATORY CLASS?

AUDITIONS ARE THURSDAY, AUGUST 13TH FROM 3-5PM AT GVT!

NEXT STEPS:
1. Visit gvtheatre.org/education to choose a 10 minute audition slot on sign-up genius. *If a time doesn't work for you, please reach out!

2. Review the Conservatory Audition Packet on the website to make sure you fit the criteria.

3. Prepare 2 contrasting monologues that are each 30-60 seconds long.

4. Make sure you are registered for classes. *Payments are not due until the class roster has been sent out via email by August 24th.

5. Rock your audition with confidence!

*If you have been in Conservatory for two consecutive years, you do not need to audition to enroll in the class.

*Any students not accepted into the Conservatory class are encouraged to enroll in the Teens class.

*Full and partial scholarships are available for all After-School Classes.

🍄Congratulations to the Musical Theatre Campers and their showcase performance of Alice in Wonderland the Musical! 🍄

Musical Theatre Camp was filled with learning about theatre, many arts and crafts, and rehearsing their show! We had a packed audience of family and friends to see all of their hard work on stage!

There is still one more week of Summer Camp, but registration is OPEN for Fall 2026 After-School Classes! Learn more and register at gvtheatre.org/education. Full and partial scholarships are available!
