Hello GVA Family,

As we step into this exciting month, we are filled with gratitude and joy for the incredible milestones our students have all achieved. Each step, whether small or large, brings us closer to becoming the individuals God has called us to be. This is a time to celebrate not only the accomplishments of our graduates but the growth and learning of every student. Every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every moment of faith experienced is a part of the beautiful journey that God has set before us. Let’s continue to support and encourage!

Greenbrier Valley Academy Kindergarten & 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony 🎓

We invite you to join us in celebrating the academic achievements and spiritual growth of our Kindergarten and 8th grade students at Greenbrier Valley Academy.

This special evening honors the learning, growth, and milestones of our students as they take the next step in their educational journey.

The Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 18th from 6:00–7:00 PM at the Lewisburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Refreshments will be provided following the ceremony.

Hello, March!

As we welcome the month of March, we are reminded of the joy of new beginnings and fresh growth. Just as seeds planted in the soil slowly sprout and flourish, our faith in Jesus Christ grows when nurtured with love and care. Every small act of kindness, each prayer, and every moment we spend in His presence is like a seed planted in our hearts—ready to blossom and bear fruit.

May this month be a time to cultivate the seeds of faith, hope, and love that God has planted within us. As we grow together in His grace, may we also grow in compassion and understanding, sharing His light and love with all those around us.

Dear GVA Family,

Winter MAP Testing is coming! | February 9–12
Greenbrier Valley Academy will provide a light breakfast for students to help them start the day strong!

Here are a few simple ways families can help students stay sharp and energized:

Get enough rest: Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep each night.

Stay hydrated: Encourage plenty of water throughout the day.

Eat nutritious meals: Include fruits, vegetables, and protein to keep energy levels up.

Welcome, February!

As we step into February, let us celebrate the greatest love of all—the love of Jesus Christ! 💛 This month is a beautiful reminder to share His love with everyone around us, in our words, our actions, and our hearts.

At GVA, we encourage our students, families, and staff to let Christ’s love guide us each day—showing kindness, lifting others with encouragement, and spreading joy wherever we go. May this month be filled with meaningful connections, acts of love, and hearts overflowing with His grace.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

There will be no school on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday honoring Dr. King's life and legacy and dedication to equality and peace.

We encourage everyone to reflect on Dr. King’s powerful message of unity and consider ways to serve and uplift others in your community.

This is a friendly reminder regarding our Christmas Break.

Christmas Break will begins Monday, December 22, 2025, and continues through Thursday, January 1, 2026. During this time, there will be no classes in session.

Classes will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

We pray that this holiday season is a time of rest, joy, and meaningful moments with family as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for your continued support.

Dear GVA Family,

We are filled with joy and excitement as we look forward to this Saturday, December 13th! Our students have been working hard to prepare a beautiful Christmas program, sharing the story of our Savior’s birth through music, and scripture.

This year, we are especially blessed to join efforts with the Lewisburg SDA Church as together we celebrate the miracle of Jesus’ coming to Earth. It will be a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and holiday joy as our children lift their voices in song and remind us of the true reason for the season.

We can’t wait to see you there and worship together as one family in Christ.

May this season fill your hearts with peace, hope, and the light of Jesus.
