~We inspire artists to do their best work and share it with the university and greater central Pennsylvania audiences.
~We inspire audiences to recognize the spiritual power or art and its ability to change individual lives.
~We inspire communities to become active participants rather than passive spectators through a deeper integration of arts activities shared between the campus and the greater community. TERMS OF USE

🎶The Atrium series kicks off on Thursday, October 1 with Las Áñez a twin-sister duo that combines Colombian traditional folk music with pop and electronic music. The performance will feature a loop pedal and small instruments, blending folklore and the avant-garde.

🎶Then, Raul Midón takes the Atrium stage on Wednesday, October 7. Raul is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist celebrated for his singular fusion of soul, jazz, Latin and acoustic music. Blind since birth, he has been hailed by The New York Times as a “one-man band” who transforms his guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus.

🎶On Thursday, October 15, Associate Professor of Economics at Bucknell University Shahram Azhar performs. The quartet of harmonium, tabla, sitar and keyboard will fuse Urdu and Punjabi poetry and North Indian music with Western traditions.

🎶Americana music takes center stage when Maya de Vitry performs on Wednesday, November 11. Originally from Lancaster, Maya is a Nashville-based artist whose music blurs the lines of folk, indie rock and Americana. After a formative chapter with the Americana trio The Stray Birds, she launched her solo career with the 2019 album Adaptations, earning praise from Rolling Stone Country and NPR Music. Since then, she has built a devoted following.

🎶In the final fall Atrium performance, classical guitarist Raphael Feuillatre performs on Thursday, November 12. Hailed as the new face of classical guitar, Raphaël fascinates audiences and critics alike with the depth of his interpretations and dazzling virtuosity.

🎟️Tickets for all five Atrium performances are available at Bucknell.edu/Box Office or by calling 570-577-1000.

Hi everyone! I’m Shah, a junior from Lahore, Pakistan, triple majoring in Economics, Psychology and Creative Writing. I’ll be one of the Weis Center Marketing Assistants this year!

I like to dabble in a little bit of everything, but writing and content creation have definitely become my niche. The Weis Center gives me a space to keep that creativity alive while meeting incredible people and experiencing world-class performances I probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise.

I’ve been working with the Weis Center for almost as long as I’ve been at Bucknell, and I’m excited for another year! Hope to see many of you at the Weis Center soon!
