Fourth graders in Mrs.Miller's STEM class have been wrapping up their coding skills for the year by creating original projects. This year, fourth graders strengthened their skills of sequencing, loops, and conditionals as well as learned about sprites, variables, functions, and game design.
Students also explored the digital citizenship concepts of media choices, private & personal information, digital footprints, online gaming etiquette, creator's rights, and designing for accessibility. You can check out some of our projects here:

Ms. Yoder organized a Harry Potter - themed Seeker's Circle Party - a special celebration for those who not only found the hidden Horcruxes but also solved the final puzzle after participating in the search all year long. Ms. Yoder designed and hid each Horcrux, as well as, wrote every clue with mystery and fun throughout the school year. Thanks to her, Linntown was filled with imagination, teamwork and a touch of Hogwarts magic. Thank you, Ms. Yoder , for creating such an unforgettable experience!

We have a group of students that are preparing our garden beds for a makeover. After the beds are prepped and ready, we have another group of students researching plants that will grow well together so we can move forward with replanting the beds. It's a total hands-on effort and we are so proud of our students for taking on the challenge!
