UT Extension Marshall County will be hosting a Small Ruminant Field Day at Caney Creek Farms in Chapel Hill on October 16th. This will be a great opportunity for small ruminant producers to learn new management techniques, hear about small ruminant nutrition, talk about weeds and pasture management, and much more. The cost for the field day is only $5. For any attendees who need to be recertified in Master Small Ruminant, the Field Day will serve as part of a Hybrid class that will be offered. To complete your requirements, you will also have to watch a selection of 6 videos to receive your Master Producer Certification. The Master Small Ruminnat Certification will cost $125. You can sign up for both events at the link below and then pay online.
If you are doing MAster Small Ruminant, you must attend the field day and watch the videos to receive your certificate. You only need to pay the Master Small Ruminant Fee; you don't have to pay the field day fee.
