We’re excited to welcome Travis Morrow to Classics Eagles as our new U13–U15 Girls Director!

Travis will serve in this role in addition to his responsibilities as the Columbus Force SC U13–U14 Girls Director, bringing his experience and player-development expertise to both programs.

With more than two decades of coaching experience, Travis has worked across youth club soccer, Olympic Development Program, high school, and goalkeeping environments. He holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeper Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Technical Training Diploma, EE Playmaker Certificate through England Football Learning, and NSCAA Professional Development Certificate.

His coaching experience includes:

• Barça Academy Columbus — U13–U15 Girls Age Group Director
• Ohio Premier Upper Arlington — Girls Director of Coaching
• Worthington United — Girls Director of Coaching
• Crew Juniors — Girls Assistant Director of Coaching
• Triangle United (Raleigh, NC) — Goalkeeper & Staff Coach
• Wellington High School — Women’s Varsity Assistant & Goalkeeper Coach
• Ohio ODP — State Staff Head Coach
• Shot-Stopper Goalkeeping Academy — Director & Owner

Travis also brings extensive playing experience with Wright State University, Columbus State University, Celtic FC, and Capital City Soccer Club, beginning his playing career in 1984.

We’re excited to welcome Evan Wherley to the Classics Eagles as our new U13–U15 Boys Director!

Evan will serve in this role in addition to his responsibilities as the Columbus Force SC U13–U14 Boys Director, continuing to provide leadership and player development across both programs.

Evan brings extensive experience at the youth, collegiate, and competitive levels. He holds a USSF National B License and USC National Diploma, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame College, where he double-majored in Accounting and Sports Management with minors in Economics and Finance.

His coaching experience includes:
• Barça Academy Columbus — Boys U13–U15 Director
• Delaware Rising FC — Women’s Team Head Coach
• Ohio ODP — State Coach
• Westerville United FC — Staff Coach
• Dover Soccer Association — Staff Coach

Evan also brings playing experience with Delaware Rising FC and Notre Dame College.

We are excited to introduce Ben Neer as the newest member of the Classic Eagle family and our new U10–U12 Boys Director.

Ben brings extensive experience in club soccer, with a strong background in coaching, player development, and club leadership. Throughout his career, he has held coaching and leadership roles with Barça Academy, Olentangy United, Westerville United, and Worthington United, giving him a well-rounded understanding of player development and the Central Ohio soccer community.

Most recently, Ben led Columbus Force’s 2011 Boys ECNL-RL team to a state championship and a spot in the ECNL-RL National Finals. He has also served as the Head Boys Varsity Coach at Thomas Worthington High School and as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Olentangy High School. Ben attended the University of Cincinnati and holds a USSF D License.
Ben’s roots in the local soccer community run deep.

Raised in Westerville, he played high school soccer at Westerville North and competed at the club level with WASA Premier and WASA Ambassadors. During his time with WASA Premier/Ambassadors, his teams won five consecutive state championships and finished as state runner-up in the following two seasons.

In addition to his role with Classic Eagles, Ben will continue as the U10–U12 Boys Director at Columbus Force. He will bring his experience and knowledge to support our players, coaches, and families while helping continue to build a positive and competitive environment for player development.

We are excited to welcome Ben to Classic Eagles. His experience, passion for the game, and commitment to developing young players make him a great addition to our club.

We’re excited to introduce Braden Bell as the U10-U12 Girls Director & U12 & Below Technical Director for Classic Eagles!

Braden brings extensive experience in youth player development, with coaching and leadership roles at Classic Eagles, SuperKick Soccer, and Barca Academy Columbus. His previous experience includes serving as the Classic Eagles Youth Development Academy Assistant Director and Director (U8-U10), SuperKick Soccer Programming & Elite Soccer Academy Director (U5-U19), Barca Academy Columbus U10-U12 Age Group Director, and Barca Academy Columbus U8-U12 Girls Director.

Braden holds a Bachelor of Education from The Ohio State University and his USSF D License.

His playing experience includes Ohio Premier, Big Walnut/New Albany Crew, Big Walnut High School, and Marietta College. He was a senior captain at Big Walnut, earned All-District Second Team honors in 2007, and helped Marietta College finish as OAC Runner-Up in 2008.

In addition to his role with Classic Eagles, Braden will continue his responsibilities with Columbus Force SC as the U10-U12 Girls Director and U12 & Below Technical Director, helping support player development across both programs.

We’re excited to have Braden leading our U10-U12 girls and continuing to make an impact on the development of young players throughout the soccer community.

We are excited to welcome Nehemiah Tanga to the Classic Eagles family as our new U8–U9 Boys & Girls Director!

Nehemiah brings a strong combination of playing experience, coaching experience, and a passion for developing young players. A former standout at Alexander High School, Nehemiah was a 3-year captain, a 2-time District Champion, a Regional Runner-up, and a 2nd Team All-District selection. He continued his playing career at Capital University, competing at the NCAA Division III level.

His coaching background includes nearly two decades of experience with the Alexander School District, where he coached both boys and girls soccer from 2006–2021. During that time, his teams earned three District Championships, two Regional Runner-up finishes, and he was recognized with a Coach of the Year award. He also spent time with Alexander Soccer Club as a staff coach from 2012–2021 and most recently served as a staff coach with Northwest FC from 2021–2024.

Nehemiah holds a USSF National C License, United Coaches diplomas in 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11, and a degree from Ohio University in Physical Activity & Sports Coaching, with additional coursework in Coaching Education and Soccer.

We are excited for Nehemiah to bring his experience, leadership, and passion for player development to our youngest Classic Eagles players. His experience working with both boys and girls, combined with his commitment to creating positive and competitive learning environments, makes him a great addition to our club.

We are excited for Kirby Valle to step in as the Club Director and Director of Coaching with Classics Eagles!

Kirby brings an extensive background in club leadership, coaching, goalkeeper development, and player development. A graduate of Butler University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts with minors in Journalism and Communications, Kirby also holds her USSF C National License, along with NSCAA Advanced National and Advanced National Goalkeeper Licenses.

Her coaching career includes leadership roles with Barça Academy Columbus, Classics Eagles, SuperKick, Indy Premier SC, Fishers Soccer Club, and the Columbus Crew Academy, where she has worked across multiple levels of player and goalkeeper development.

Kirby also brings an impressive playing background, competing at the University of Tennessee, where she helped the Volunteers win two SEC Championships and two SEC Triple Crowns while making two NCAA Elite Eight appearances. She later continued her playing career at Butler University and in the WPSL.

With her extensive experience and passion for developing players, coaches, and clubs, we are excited to have Kirby stepping into this leadership role with Classics Eagles. Please join us in welcoming Kirby!

We’ve had a strong amount of interest from players and families, and we’re excited to keep building opportunities and pathways for players to develop within our club.

Classics Eagles continues to grow because families value development, community, flexibility, and opportunity. We’re excited to keep building.
