PCA hosted Friday's ACSI Middle School Leadership Conference with guest speaker Pastor Cornell Jordan. Our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) participated in the event. This year's theme was to for the students to learn how to take what God has blessed them with and become BRAVE enough to use it to positively influence others in their school. Students briefly studied how Moses, David, Esther, and Jesus all had to do the same thing despite the difficulties surrounding their lives.
Any seventh or eighth-grade student who has at least an 80% average in every class can apply for membership to PCA's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Our focus is not just on academic achievement, but also strength of character, service to others, and biblical leadership.

This 7 foot sculpture was created by the PCA Middle School Art classes with the help of their teacher, Mrs. Suzanna Stedman. The inspiration behind the sculpture comes from the artist, Louise Nevelson. The classes will visit the Columbus Museum of Art in March for more ideas that they can replicate in the classroom.
This is just one example of the quality and creativity of work found at PCA. Please visit the middle school hallway to see the sculpture in person.
