Welcome USNA Alumni - Keeping Delaware well connected! FYI "Southern Alumni Group" meets first Tuesday of every month in Lewes at the Greene Turtle for lunch....contact Jim Ring ([email protected]) for details. Northern Group meets intermittently at Timothy's in Newark. No set schedule at this time due to everyone's work schedule. Will notify all upcoming "Meet & Greet's" via USNA email protocol as well as posting on FACEBOOK.

From Lewes DE, the annual Delaware Chapter of the USNA Alumni Association Army-Navy Game get-together was scheduled by JIM RING USNA ’63 at The Greene Turtle in Lewes. It was hosted by ‘59ers Dan and Ona Truax and Pete and Elaine Stout . The USNA 59ers dominated the attendance. In addition to the Truaxes and Stouts, there were 1959 classmates from Virginia, Art and Niki Emmerson; Annapolis, Jay and Pat Bainbridge; and Ocean View MD, Bob and Sandy Reifsnyder. Other attendees from USNA Classes ’54 (1), ’63, (4), ’67 (3), ’68 (2), and ’85 (2) made up the crowd. Army was represented loudly by Bob and Nancy Stevens USMA ’57. (Interestingly, Bob Stevens is the classmate of Pete Stout’s WoPoo brother, Bruce Stout USMA ’57). A 50-50 raffle was conducted with proceeds donated to the DE USO. While there was some concern in the 4th quarter, all of Navy attendees were relieved and happy that Navy’s winning the Army-Navy game streak continued at game’s end.
