Watch the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/gF_WZfzu

Here’s what they cover:
✅ How agents discovered a communication channel and started sharing information with each other.
✅ How they began forming collective groups when they struggled to complete their assigned tasks.
✅ How their behaviour moved from finding workarounds to cheating and justifying increasingly questionable actions.
✅ Why the bigger risk may not be malicious AI, but agents pursuing a legitimate objective in ways humans did not intend.

In this conversation, Aditya Paul Berlia & Mark Troy take a deeper look at one of the biggest questions around AI: what happens as these systems become more powerful, and who gets to control what comes next?

Watch the full podcast here: https://youtu.be/g9NF9YfQyk0

▶️ Adi discusses the growing debate around AI risk, why current concerns should be separated from extreme doomsday scenarios, and where he believes clear boundaries need to be set.

▶️ They explore how AI could reshape the relationship between work, capital and society, and why the impact may go far beyond job automation.

▶️ Adi and Mark discuss what could happen if one AI company reaches highly advanced AI first, why it may have little incentive to share that capability, and the risks of concentrating so much power in a few hands.

▶️ They also look at whether governments and businesses can adapt quickly enough as AI development continues to accelerate, and what a practical approach to regulation could look like.

A conversation about AI risk, the race toward more powerful AI, concentration of power, regulation and the decisions leaders may need to make sooner than expected.

In this highlight, Aditya Paul Berlia and Mark Troy discuss Apple’s position in AI and whether a broader leadership reset could mark the beginning of a new direction for the company.

Watch the full podcast here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNyLMttI0qQ&t

Here’s what they cover:

✅ Why Apple has major advantages in hardware, chips, distribution and access to consumers.
✅ Why those advantages have so far struggled to translate into the same level of progress in AI.
✅ How leadership and organisational changes could signal a wider rethink of Apple’s AI strategy.
✅ Why Apple’s history of entering markets later and perfecting the consumer experience could still matter in the AI race.

In this highlight, Aditya Paul Berlia and Mark Troy discuss NVIDIA’s major move around Poolside and why the bigger story may be NVIDIA’s push to strengthen the open AI model ecosystem.

Watch the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/dMeQj9AU

Here’s what they cover:

✅ Why NVIDIA should be seen as more than a chip company, with its own growing role in AI models and infrastructure.
✅ Why NVIDIA has a strong interest in keeping the open model ecosystem moving forward.
✅ How Chinese AI companies have taken a stronger position in open models while many leading U.S. AI companies continue to build closed models and their own chips.
✅ How the Poolside deal discussed in the podcast includes approximately $1 billion invested, a $6 billion licensing fee and around 100 engineers moving to NVIDIA’s Nemotron project.
✅ Why Adi sees this as a long-term investment in strengthening U.S. open models rather than simply NVIDIA competing with companies like OpenAI.

In this highlight, Aditya Paul Berlia and Mark Troy discuss why Zero Data Retention could become an important step in building greater trust between enterprises and AI companies.

Watch the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/dMeQj9AU

Here’s what they cover:

✅ What Zero Data Retention means for companies using AI with sensitive and confidential information.
✅ Why deleting data after processing can help address enterprise concerns around privacy, security and trust.
✅ How data retention can also create regulatory and liability concerns, particularly for companies operating across different markets.
✅ Why businesses may worry about sharing confidential information as AI companies expand into areas such as healthcare, finance, law and design.
✅ Why Zero Data Retention could make enterprises more comfortable using AI without worrying that their data may be stored or used later.

AI Just Broke Out Of The Cloud

In this highlight, Aditya Paul Berlia and Mark Troy discuss how powerful open AI models are becoming small enough to run locally on consumer hardware — and why that could change the way we use AI.

Watch the full podcast here: https://lnkd.in/dMeQj9AU

✅ How Qwen 3.8 is pushing the capabilities of smaller open models closer to leading frontier models.
✅ Why a 27-billion-parameter model can now be practical enough to run locally and offline on consumer hardware.
✅ How FreeToken optimizes the processing pipeline around local AI models and can deliver 2–3x speed improvements on existing models.
✅ Why open-weight models allow AI labs to learn from each other’s architecture and training choices, helping push the wider AI ecosystem forward.
✅ Why the growing strength of Chinese open models could accelerate competition and innovation across the global AI industry.

Why Treating AI Like a Vending Machine Gives You Mediocre Results

In this conversation, Mark Troy speaks with Jay Lambert about why people often get mediocre results from AI and how they can improve the way they work with it.
Watch the full podcast here: https://youtu.be/DzrlJ2I6ftQ

▶️ Jay explains why AI should not be treated like a vending machine—where someone enters one prompt and expects the perfect answer.
▶️ He shares why AI should instead be treated like a brilliant new hire: highly capable, but without an immediate understanding of you, your company or the task.
▶️ Jay discusses asking AI to interview you before beginning, allowing it to identify missing information and ask the questions it needs answered.
▶️ He explains how voice mode and a thinking-partner skill can make this process more conversational.
▶️ Jay also stresses that the user remains responsible for reviewing and approving the final output produced with AI.
▶️ The conversation closes with a method for improving future prompts: give AI the final result and ask how the original prompt should have been written to reach that result.

A conversation about moving beyond one-shot prompting and working with AI through context, conversation, review, and continuous improvement.
