Heavy bag work builds repetition, power, conditioning, and the kind of honest mechanics that carries into sparring.
The bag is not just for hitting hard. Itβs where you build rhythm, structure, and fight habits. Put in the reps. π₯

Build the kick off the hands.
Todayβs progression is all about setup and range. Step into the jab and punch all the way out to measure for the kick. Then build it up, jab-cross low kick, then jab-cross-hook low kick. π
Each punch should create the kick. The hands draw attention, the low kick does the damage. Focus on range, balance, and letting the combination flow.

Theme of the Week: The Clinch π₯
The clinch is where fighters control posture, create openings, and work from close range using knees, off-balancing techniques, and positioning.
It's not about strength alone. Good clinch work relies on timing, balance, and understanding leverage.
A strong clinch can slow an opponent down, disrupt their rhythm, and completely change the pace of a fight.
Control the position. Create the opening. Stay one step ahead.
