🎓 Calling All 8th Grade Parents! 🎓
Want to Help Make Their Last Year Extra Special?
Our 8th graders have a BIG year ahead, and we’re looking for 8th grade parents who are interested in joining the 8th Grade Committee! 💙

This is a parent-led team that works together, with PTO guidance and support, to help make the 8th grade year memorable for our students.

🌟 What Does the 8th Grade Committee Do?
Together, the committee will help:

🎟️ Plan & organize the 8th Grade Basket Raffle
• Build a committee of parents to collect donations and baskets
• Help with fundraising
• Organize the raffle with PTO guidance

🥞 Support 8th Grade Events
• Move Up Day Breakfast
• Move Up Ceremony
• Class Trip Breakfast
• Other special 8th grade activities

🎁 Celebrate Our 8th Graders
• Help plan and coordinate gifts for the 8th grade class
• Work with the 8th grade lead teacher on communication, documents and events

💙 This Is a TEAM Effort!
This is NOT a one-person job!
The 8th Grade Committee is typically made up of 8th grade parents working together, with the PTO providing support, guidance and resources along the way.

Whether you have lots of time or just a little, there is a way to help!

💙📚 PTO Giving Back to Our Students! 📚💙

One of the best parts of being part of our PTO is finding ways to give back to the students and make their school experience just a little bit better!

This year, the PTO was excited to purchase agenda books for all of our incoming 5th grade students! 🎉 These agenda books will help our newest Sandburg students stay organized, keep track of assignments, and start the school year off on the right foot.

This is just one of the many ways our PTO gives back to our students throughout the school year. Every fundraiser, donation, volunteer hour, and bit of support from our school community helps make these opportunities possible. ❤️

We are so excited to welcome our 5th graders to Sandburg and hope these agenda books help them have a successful and organized year!
