Meet Sempai Samaya!
Sempai Samaya started karate with us when she was just 4 years old! She is 14 now.
Samaya says karate has impacted her life by "making me extremely disciplined and goal-oriented. Having to push through really hard days at karate where I feel like giving up also taught me how to be mentally and physically strong. Karate has also taught me to appreciate my body and everything it has gotten me through".
Samaya hopes to achieve her first degree blackbelt this year, and inspire others to do the same. In the future, Samaya hopes to become a psychologist for kids.
