Hunter Business School Levittown Hunter Business School offers various programs in the Medical, Business and Technology fields.

Hunter Business School (HBS) was founded in 1972 for the purpose of providing quality career training through intensive and innovative programs. The original mission was developed in 1972 when the school was first founded. It was expanded in 1999 to include a change of ownership and new Allied Health programs including Medical Assistant and Computer Technology. In keeping with this mission, we have recently added a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound) program which took its first enrollment in 2010. HBS’s mission is viewed as a living, organic expression of potential growth.

At Hunter Business School, Medical Assistant training is about more than watching someone else do it. Our students get hands-on practice with the skills they’ll use in the real world, including phlebotomy and blood draws.

And yes… sometimes our staff gets in the chair too. 💉😂
Because the more opportunities our students have to practice, build confidence, and learn by doing, the more prepared they can be when it’s game time.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 still means something different to New Yorkers.

Some of our students were not yet born. Others, like so many of us, can still remember exactly where they were, who they were with, and the feeling of a day that changed our city, our country, and countless lives forever.

Today, our Medford campus came together as one community for a moment of silence. Students and staff placed American flags in the ground, each one a small symbol of remembrance, respect, and gratitude.

We remember the lives lost.
We honor the families who still carry that loss.
We recognize the courage of the first responders and everyday people who stepped forward when others needed them most.

For those of us who call New York home, September 11 is not simply a date in history. It is part of our story.

25 years later, we still remember. We always will.

For the first time, our Levittown and Medford Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduates came together for one graduation ceremony, and it made for a night we won’t forget.
