Yesterday, in the rain, Nate Daman of Escalon Home Improvement came by and installed a custom-built pulley rack for our infant-toddler sensory yard! We are so grateful for the time, care, and craftsmanship that went into creating this wonderful addition to our outdoor learning environment.
Play-based early childhood education is all about giving young children opportunities to explore a variety of environments and experiences that nurture their natural curiosity, creativity, problem-solving skills, and growing independence. Children learn best when they can move, touch, experiment, and discover—and our sensory yard gives them space to do just that. These hands-on, whole-body experiences make learning meaningful while supporting the development of important cognitive and motor skills.
This stand is such a great addition to our play yard and we can't wait to see all the ways our young friends discover to use it!
