While in the library 7th grade RLAstudents compared the original story of the Three Little Pigs to the True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by Jon Scieska as a way of learning about perspective. This activity is to prepare students for the upcoming reading of The Untouchables by Gordon Korman in the classroom. Sometimes a story told in a different perspective can change how you see it!

Ms. Baumgardner’s classes were busy this week learning about Notice and Note. Notice and Note is a strategy that helps students learn what might be important in the story as they analyze it. The students had a terrific time searching for signpost is short stories such as The White Wolf and The Big Toe by Alvin Schwartz.
