What an amazing day it was at the Buck Stampede! Our students showed up big time and ran their hearts out! Big thanks to our awesome volunteers, our generous community and staff for making the day work. Special shout out to Mrs Powell for planning and executing this great event!

2nd graders in Mrs. Maskill’s class had a wonderful time with Mr. Webb as we virtually visited 9 U.S. National Parks! Students enjoyed exploring beautiful landscapes, learning about wildlife, and discovering some of the amazing natural wonders our country has to offer. Thank you, Mr. Webb, for such a fun and educational experience!

Mr. Bowman’s class has been working on how wind and water change earth. Today they did a fun lesson as they constructed their own mountain, and performed rain storms to watch how water can create slow and fast changes. One group even made a mountain resembling their teacher’s bald head, making sure to have one strand of hair on the peak of the mountain. Next week, they will conduct a similar experiment, trying to find ways to protect their landforms from erosion.
