RJTC offers a warm welcome to Brooklyn Izold, our new Practical Nursing Instructor! Brooklyn will be sharing her experience from the Emergency and Labor & Delivery departments at CAMC and Jackson General with our PN students. She has a BSN from University of Charleston.and is married to Drew, who is a RJTC Welding alumni! Brooklyn is excited to inspire young minds to be a great nurse! Please help us welcome Mr. Scott Hatcher to RJTC's Staff! Scott is the instructor of our new Electrical Technician program!!! Scott is a Ripley High (Class of 1993) & RJTC Alumni from our Electronics Technology program. He went on to WVU-P but decided to pursue a career in the trades after 3 semesters. He had started in 2011 as apprentice for Constellium and USW and worked as an electrician/electrical technician. Scott comes to us after retiring on June 1st. He is married to Missy Hatcher, Broker with Exclusive Realty, and are the owners of Faithful and Free in Ripley. Scott is also a proud dad to 4 girls and 1 son, Brittney, Olivia (another RJTC Alumni from our Cosmetology program), Brooke, Erica, and Eli. We're glad your 'enjoying your retirement' with us!

RJTC is excited to welcome Dawn Fore to the our staff! Dawn is our new Career & Work Skills Training instructor, also known as CWST or CO-OP. She is another RJTC alumni as she completed RJTC's PN program in 2010 and was a school nurse for 12 years. She also taught previously in Roane County. She is married to Steve Fore and they share a son who is a 2025 RJTC alumni from our Collision Repair program! Welcome Dawn!

As the school year starts at RJTC, we are excited to welcome several new staff members! First, we welcome Becky Burns, a new Practical Nursing Instructor! Becky joins RJTC with 21 years of nursing experience and 4 years of teaching experience. She also has served as the Athletic Trainer for the Gilmer County Titans for the last 3 years. Becky is a 2007 graduate RJTC's PN Program and received her Associates in Nursing from WVU-P. Becky is married to Brian and they have 2 daughters, Brooklyn and Emily. Welcome Becky! We are excited you have joined our staff! Watch RJTC's pages to meet the other new faces at RJTC over the next few days!

Another day done at the fair for our awesome hair braiding Cosmo students. They will rest and stretch their fingers tonight and be back at it tomorrow and Friday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Thanks to these lovely ladies for their hard work on day one of Hair Braiding at the JCJF! They will be back at it tomorrow through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by and visit tomorrow, Tuesday until 7 p.m. to learn more about the Center and get some goodies!

RJTC's Art of Beauty Salon will be re-opening on July 16 after a short summer break. Appointments are available on Thursdays and Fridays. Salon hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the last appointment at 2 p.m. It is encouraged to schedule any chemical services in the morning hours. Call 304-372-7335 to schedule your pampering session!
