Happy National Ag Day from Kansas Farm Bureau! While every day is ag day to us, we’re especially in a celebratory spirit today. Thank you to the farmers and ranchers in Kansas and beyond who provide the food, fuel and fiber that feed our state, nation and world — and here in Kansas, we have a lot to be proud of.

🌽 Kansas is a top producer of wheat, sorghum and soybeans, providing essential grains for bread, feed, fuel and so much more.
🐂 More cattle than people and proud of it. We rank third in the nation for cattle and calves, with nearly 6 million head — that’s more than twice the state’s population.
🌾 Kansas is the Wheat State, producing enough wheat each year to bake more than 36 billion loaves of bread.

From wheat fields, soybean rows and even cotton bolls, Kansas is diverse and productive. Agriculture is Kansas’ No. 1 economic driver and the backbone of rural communities. Learn more about Kansas farm and ranch families and so much more at www.kansaslivingmagazine.com.
