Commodore Construction and Commodore Manufacturing have been busy! Commodore Construction Habitat for Humanity House update: the trusses are set, braced off and roof decking is being applied this week! We look forward to watching the house being built and thank Mr. Josh Craney and Mr. Mike Jarboe for their guidance with the students and Habitat for Humanity for their partnership!
Another batch of awards are going out the door from Commodore Manufacturing!

Commodore Construction has been busy working on the modular home they are building for Habitat for Humanity! They just got done with all of the wall framing, and are starting to set the trusses now. This is the second home that they have built for Habitat. We look forward to watching Mr. Josh Craney and his students build the home this school year!

Thank you again to Mr. Josh Craney and Mr. Michael Jarboe for leading this project. Construction students turned their classroom into a hub of innovation, mastering skilled trades through the construction of a modular home for Habitat for Humanity.

Commodore Construction students along with Mr. Josh Craney and Mr. Mike Jarboe attended the Louisville Manufactured Home Show last week. They were presented a $2,500 check for their work on the Habitat home that they are building.

The family of Aiden Alvey donated two toolboxes for our Commodore Manufacturing/Construction shop in his memory. Aiden loved welding, working with his hands and being in the shop, and this was one way they wanted his memory to live on! We are grateful to the family for this generous donation.

Perry Central Commodore Manufacturing and business students attended the Conexus Student Industries Summit in Indianapolis last week! Commodore Manufacturing students presented and shared about their company! Along with this, they were also recognized for winning Conexus Indiana’s Student Enterprise contest last spring! Wonderful job, team! Thanks to Mr. Josh Craney and Mr. Ian Thackrey for their leadership!

We are celebrating the start of a new home build for Habitat for Humanity. The home is being built under roof by students in our Commodore Construction program. It will then be moved to the building site in Tell City this coming Spring. Thanks to Josh Harris and Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity team and ATTC.
