ET&A suggests a focus on family and celebration during this time. Life is hard and as adults the Holidays can be stressful. Many children find it magical.
Celebrate, enjoy the achievements of the year. This is controversial, but we can't imagine that one week of letting go of homework packets will destroy scholastic achievement!
