Looking like we're getting some weather! Be prepared!

WEATHER UPDATE/9:00 AM: As many of you are seeing in our forecasts. A Winter Storm is likely to develop and move into our area over the upcoming weekend. Weather models are still going back and forth on the exact amounts of snow that we could see. Given the amounts of snow is still uncertain. It will no doubt be cold enough for snow in our area as temperatures will be in the 20s.
As the weather models continue to agree more on this storm, the amounts have gone up and down of how much snow we could see.

The latest models show this storm arriving by Saturday Afternoon and continuing into the night and on Sunday. The highest amounts of snow could be occurring Saturday Night.

Right now, our area could see 2-3 inches Saturday Afternoon with another 5-7 inches Saturday Night. Followed by another 3-5 inches on Sunday before this system moves out of the area. These amounts are expected to continue to change as it develops and moves closer to our area.

Like and Follow SOMDWXNEWS for the latest. We will be providing updates as this storm nears the area with more details on the amounts of snow we could see.

More fundraiser fun from Saturday's Boo Boo Bus Bash!

10/20/2025

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us last night for our Boo Boo Bus Bash fundraiser. We had an amazing turnout and a great time was had by all! We auctioned off a total 12 baskets, the food was delicious and the DJ did the best job ensuring the crowd enjoyed every minute of the night! A huge thank you to POL winery for all their support and to The Social Coffeehouse for their generous donation.

It’s BOO-BOO BUS BASH Eve!! Rumor has it, if you leave a tiny ginger ale from the EMS break room under your pillow, an EMT will leave you band-aids and oral glucose.

Let’s talk about the obvious draw to our event… the W**E! Port of Leonardtown winery has some of the best wines in Maryland made from grapes right in your own county. Buy your tickets for glasses and flights with us and redeem inside for your choice from their vast selection. If a bottle is calling your name, purchase it with winery staff and 10% goes back to LVRS.

Just to clear up a couple questions:

- We do take credit/debit cards

- There is no cover charge

- You don’t have to dress up in a costume
