We are thrilled to announce the Leonard Elementary 2020 Teacher of the Year is Early Childhood Special Education teacher Meeghan Rayner!!!

According to Principal McDevitt, Mrs. Rayner "truly embodies the values, ethics, and mission of Oxford Community Schools. She lives by example, is humble and approachable." Her colleagues deem her an "exceptional" teacher sharing, "Mrs. Rayner exemplifies all that an educator can hope to be, personable, caring, knowledgeable, creative, passionate and compassionate. She is an educator to celebrate, she is genuine and authentic and a true inspiration to all that have the privilege to know and work with her."

A parent beautifully stated, "There are those teachers that you are absolutely certain that the impact they made on your child will be a lifelong influence. Every hurdle, stepping stone, and accomplishment your child reaches, deep inside you recognize that the time spent with that one teacher was a huge part of your child’s educational foundation. Mrs. Meeghan Rayner created this foundation for my daughter..."

Congratulations Mrs. Rayner!
