What a great crowd at Meet The Tiger Night tonight! LSA, LJH and LHS students in band, cheer, volleyball, cross country and football were introduced. A special thanks to all of those who came out to honor these awesome students! We are looking forward to an exciting season ahead for our Tigers and Lady Tigers!

Meet The Tiger Night is coming up on Monday evening, August 17 at 6:00pm at Tiger Stadium. We will introduce fall sports teams and cheerleaders for LHS, LJH and LSA plus our Leonard Tiger Band! Let’s go Leonard Tigers and Lady Tigers!

Our LHS Lady Tigers volleyball teams opened the season tonight with three wins at home vs. Bonham. The JV Blue and JV Gold teams each picked up wins and then our LHS Varsity ladies won 3-0 in the final match of the evening to cap off a great night for LT Nation! Congratulations to our players and coaches for the great teamwork tonight!

Leonard ISD would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Atmos Energy and Travis Buckner for the donation of 88 backpacks and reusable water bottles for our students. This donation is very much appreciated as we begin the new school year! We are grateful for this community partnership.💙💛🐯

Leonard ISD would like to give a huge thanks to some of our Tiger Paw Patrol volunteers at Leonard Elementary School this morning as they volunteered to spruce up the landscaping around the building. They worked in the flower beds and pulled weeds around the building to help beautify the campus as the new school year approaches. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your service is greatly appreciated!

Leonard ISD kicked off the new school year this morning with special performances by the Leonard Tiger Band and LHS cheerleaders to get the enthusiasm rolling! A delicious breakfast cooked by our cafeteria ladies was served followed by drawings for prizes and our wonderful guest speaker, Robert Hinchcliffe, an award-winning principal and author in Las Vegas, Nevada, who grew up in a small town in Washington. We were excited to have him speak to our entire staff bringing his energy and passion all the way to ! What a great way to begin the 26-27 school year! A special thanks to Lisa Jones for all of her hard work coordinating this big day!
